My work uses colour, architecture, and silhouette to explore themes of connection, memory, and belonging. Balancing abstraction with recognisable forms, the paintings create emotional spaces that encourage reflection on the relationships, places, and experiences that shape our lives.
I was born in Huddersfield in 1989. I studied at Leeds College of Art, graduating with a First Class degree in Advertising, which still influences how I think about composition and visual impact.
My work has appeared in places like the BBC drama Ackley Bridge and a range of commercial projects.
Colour is one of the main ways I shape a painting. I use it to guide the mood from softer, quieter moments to more expressive, energetic ones helping to bring out the sense of connection and emotion within each scene.
